Hello, I'm Markus Grannenfelt.

Welcome to my home base in the Internets.

A combination of work and play. History, present and future. I’m an entrepreneur, self-made creative, marketing aficionado and digital thinker from Helsinki, Finland.

My first entrepreneurial fumbling steps started in 1998, when I co-founded a BBDO spin-off in Helsinki. In January 2003 I founded a company called White Sheep, which was acquired by Isobar/Aegis Plc in 2008. Since then I’ve focused more on business development and management and unfortunately less on the creative side of the business.

I've worked as an Art Director, Creative Director, Account Director and agency leader & CEO. Seen that, done that. Current interests are around multi-screen proliferation and mobility, service & product design and of course content & social as a hub for modern marketing. Previously, I was also active in the demoscene and in a media art collective called katastro.fi. I designed numerous flyers, books, posters and of course websites, demos and intros.
