I had the opportunity to participate in the the first chapter of the SCARBOROUGH AFFAIR. Well, mostly as a helping hand learning about one phase of winemaking in the Cape Farmhouse. Coming to a bottle near you next year. Ps. That’s Buddy 11 weeks tasting the grape juice ;)

Most grapes of 2013 have been harvested in Hemel-en-Aarde. We got a glimpse of modern winemaking at La Vierge where they were processing the grapes at full speed. Not as glamorous as one might want to think… :)

Witnessed Hamilton Russell’s 2013 chardonnay making it to the barrels. I wonder if it will beat my current Hemel-en-Aarde favorite Ataraxia?

Beautiful bottle lamps add to the eclectic decor of Café Dijon (at The Rockwell building) in Green Point. I’ve always fancied the idea, but never had a space for them.

Yesterday I met the local architect in Scarborough to plan the renovation of our future home. It’ll be amazing! The view from the house still takes my breath away. Paradise on earth!

Café Dijon lights add what I would call a Scandinavian feel to this stylish bistro in Green Point. I was delighted to have the best meat in a long while - do try their specially sourced angus beef. Melts in your mouth!

Marco and the funky CT Trigger bunch took me to the Woodstock Lounge the other day. Damn smooth place, I wonder how I never stumbled in whilst living in Upper Woodstock. Still dream of a small house there and a porch with an appropriate snoopy to keep hustlers away… ;)
